Background:

Amy Demner opened her offices in the Coral Palm Plaza in Coral Springs to offer an alternative to the often sterile atmosphere of a psychologist’s office. Her strong artistic background enabled her to create a relaxing, soothing environment designed to exude peace and tranquility. Exquisite stain glass windows frame a conference room, just off the lobby, while the sounds of waterfall fountains can be heard throughout the office. Her comfortable offices provides a private, soothing atmosphere for individuals, couples or families needing support in a variety of areas, including sexual trauma, physical disability and chronic illness, sexual dysfunction, gender issues and intimacy concerns, as well as parenting, self-esteem or grief issues.

With more than 20 years experience and training as a psychotherapist and clinical sexologist, Dr. Amy has worked extensively with individuals, couples, families and groups helping them resolve their issues and problems.

Educators, physicians and health professionals also have tapped her as a consultant. She holds workshops and lectures for professional, medical and educational facilities; and is a frequent teacher, public speaker and media expert. Board certified by the Art Therapy Credentials Board and the American Academy of Clinical Sexology, Dr. Amy also is a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
